ROBOTIC JOINING PROCESS FOR MRT ASSEMBLY

SIEMENS HEALTHINEERS | Germany | MRT Production Erlangen. The requirements for the joining process of MRI systems are challenging. Heavy magnetic coils have to be joined and aligned with high precision. For this purpose, each component is measured with high-resolution 3D scans and up to 60,000 measuring points. The alignment of the components is based on the measurement data, position corrections are calculated and performed in real time during the joining process.
